AIT spray foam offers better overall thermal performance at nearly the same net cost as other products. Since conventional insulation materials can settle, they cannot seal from stud to stud, around outlets, or on horizontal surfaces. In addition, conventional insulation can lose its insulation value if water or moisture invade the wall cavity and when outside temperatures drop below 30 degrees F.
AIT spray foam is not affected by time or moisture, it will not settle, it does not support mold growth, and it offers no food source or nesting materials for rodents and insects.
